Setting up ESC eventsM
- Set defaults
Some fields can be preset to default values for new deliveries. - Go to the   Administration tab and click on Administration tab and click on Settings ( Settings ( Company settings)M > Company settings)M > Event > Event > Exhibition Stand Catering (ESC)M. Exhibition Stand Catering (ESC)M.
- Assign an anonymous default Name if the customer's address data is frequently unavailable at the time the order is placed.
 Example: Anon., Business card
- Enter a default Status and Occasion for new deliveries.
- Tick Auto-create ESC days to copy directly all the dates of any exhibition from the event calendarM.
- Select Templates for the returns note. email and invoice (see below) and enter Delivery times.

- Create order types
There are three basic segment types in the ESC: Order, Invoice and Returns. Several order types can be created for each of these segments and assigned different text or spreadsheet templates. - Go to the  Templates tab and select Templates tab and select ESC templates > ESC templates > New, then the company if applicable. - Enter the Name of the order type and select a Segment type.
- Select a Price group.
- Tick Update item prices to auto-refresh prices for the time of the event.
- Tick Add items ordered on-the-fly to standard range if you are planning to offer these for selection later.

- Assign your standard range to an order type
Assign a combo item for your standard delivery range, which is offered with every delivery of this order type. - Click on the expand triangle next to   Items and select Items and select Search if a sales item for the standard range has already been created. - Select   Items > Items > New to create a new sales item for the standard range (see below). New to create a new sales item for the standard range (see below).
- The item is broken down into its components each time a new ESC segment is created on the   Item tab. Item tab.
 
- Click on the expand triangle next to 
- Create templates for delivery and returns notes
Assign text or spreadsheet templates that are offered for delivery notes, returns notes etc. for this order type.   Add a Template. Add a Template.
- Select a suitable template from the list of existing templates or   Add a new one. Add a new one.
- The selected templates are offered for quick printout for all order segments.
 
- Create a "Standard range" item for the ESC
The standard item range is saved collectively as one combo item which is automatically booked for the segment. - Create a new combo item (Creating an item).
- Assign a unique Name.
 Example: ESC Standard Range
- Enter all items in your standard range as components (Adding components to a combo item).
- The items are automatically expanded in the segment.
- If necessary, enter deposit items that are to be returned as empties (Charge a deposit for empties).
 
- Add exhibitions to the Holidays/Special Events calendarM
Exhibitions which have already been saved in the Holidays/Special Events calendar can be copied with all their data to any new delivery. - Go to the  Configurations tab in the function bar and select Configurations tab in the function bar and select Holidays/Special EventsM.

- Enter the Name, Start date and End date of the exhibition.
 Note: To avoid confusing recurring events, include the year as part of the name.
 Save your input by clicking on the icon in the top left-hand corner of the input window. Save your input by clicking on the icon in the top left-hand corner of the input window.
- Click on  ESC > Trade fair > ESC > Trade fair > Edit list to add the name of the exhibition to the picklist. Edit list to add the name of the exhibition to the picklist.
