Create a new time slot
In principle, time slots apply independently of specific dates; they are only defined for weekdays and times.
- Go to the
Administration tab and click on
Time slots >
New to open the input window. - Enter a self-explanatory Name and Code. In many contexts, only the codes are displayed.
Example: Name "Night shift 00:00 - 00:04", abbreviation "NS00-04"
Important: The abbreviation must not contain umlauts or spaces. - Enter at least one time (from or to). An empty From time is read as "00:00", an empty To time is read as "24:00".
Important: The times must not be the same. To set up a time slote for the entire day, enter "00:00" as the start time and "24:00" as the end time. - Tick the days of the week you want to define the time slot for the selected days only.
Example: Tick "Saturday" and "No public holiday" to define the time slot only for normal Saturdays
Tick "Monday, Tuesday, ..., Saturday" AND "Public holiday" to define the time slot for all public holidays that do not fall on a Sunday - Enter a full description of the time slot (explanation, area of application) in the field Comment.
- Assign
companies for which this time slot should be valid as needed.
Save your input by clicking on the icon in the top left-hand corner of the input window.
