Setting up the shift plannerM
If you want to plan shifts for a certain period, go to the shift planner. Here you have an Summary of booked, requested and open shifts through different views and can create, change or request shifts directly.
- Select your data sources
Via the shift planner you assign the available staff their shifts. Which data sources are available and which details can be additionally displayed is determined by your company in consultation with your Bp event supervisor when setting up the software.
- Open the Summary of your staff members and shifts via Basis > staff members > shift planner . Depending on the selected data source different information is displayed.
- You can see all staff who belong to the selected group or role with their working hours and roles at Duty rota . Staff without assigned shifts are also listed.
- At Duty overview you will only see the staff who have been assigned a duty (including sickness, time off, etc.).
- At Event: Assignment you can see staff and staff roles booked for an event, sorted by event, regardless of assigned services.
- Unter Personal: Zuweisung sehen Sie nach Mitarbeiter geordnet, welche Dienste und ggf. welche Rollen und/oder Veranstaltungen zugewiesen wurden.
- Unter Bestandsartikel sehen Sie Mitarbeiter, Personalrollen und Bestandsartikel, die für einen Vorgang gebucht wurden, unabhängig von zugewiesenen Diensten.
- Save predefined views for reuse as user- or group views (Using the calendar).
- Select your filters and view
Choose the right view depending on your needs.
- In the top left-hand corner of the input window, select the desired date, the number of days and the time.
- On the right-hand side of the window, filter for which personnel groups, roles or individual staff you would like to see the plans.
- In the calendar- or timeline view , you can create new shifts or working times or move existing ones by holding down the left mouse button when the data sources Duty rota, Duty overview or Working times are active.
