Setting up labels

First create a list in which you define the content to be displayed in the labels or filtered by. The design is also done exclusively in the list itself.

  • Create a list as basis for the labels.

    First create a ausgabe List in order to define the contents of the labels.

    1. Go to the Einrichtung Configurations tab in the function bar and select > ausgabe Lists/Reports > neu New.
    2. Select the Table that you want to use as the basis for your list.
      E.g.: display labels, accounts, booked items
    3. Enter a unique Name for the list.
      Example: "Display label S Standard", "Address label 105*84"
    4. Select Use "Output list, labels".
    5. On the ausgabe General tab, neu Add :
      1. the fields to be displayed on the labels.
      2. the fields to be filtered by.
        Example: Buffet display labels with item image and name/image for allergens

    6. save Save your input.
  • Format the labels

    The labels layout happens exclusively in the ausgabe List itself on the Etiketten Labels tab.

    1. Open the  Etiketten Labels tab.
    2. Enter the Dimensions of the labels (width, height, etc.) and the Paper format .
    3. Assign an Ausgabevorlagen Output setting (watermark) with drucker Printer settings (printer, tray etc.). (Setting up output settings)
    4. Activate the option Start position definable to enable selecting a start position before printing.
    5. Only for Display labels: For Aufsteller Display labels, select a Size S, M or L for the list. Only lists with the appropriate size will be offered in the segment when the corresponding labels are printed.
    6. Go to neu Insert fields at the top left and drag the fields in the list that you want to display on the labels from the left-hand list to the right-hand list while holding down the left mouse button.
    7. Aabove the list, activate the Values to only display the contents of the selected fields.
    8. Activate Labels to also display the field labels.
    9. Format the font in the input area at the bottom right.
    10. Add Images or logos by clicking on the camera icon in the left-hand toolbar if necessary. These images are part of the layout and appear on every label.
      1. Click on the icon and open a new window by dragging and holding down the left mouse button.
      2. Move the window to the position on the label you want.
      3. Right-click on the window and select Object properties, go to the Image tab.
      4. Paste an image from the clipboard into the input window by right-click > Insert or by dragging and dropping from the hard drive.
      5. Confirm your input by clicking OK.
    11. Insert different images as a database reference depending on the item displayed. In this case, the images must be in the database and inserted in the ausgabe List > General as Bild Images .

    12. Test your layout by clicking on Druckvorschau Print preview at the top left of the toolbar.
    13. Speichern Save your input.
