Customising Utilities
-  Use hotkeys
    Many hotkeys have been defined for frequently used functions in Bp Event. - Go to the  Options tab on the function bar and click on Options tab on the function bar and click on Hotkeys to see a list of all hotkeys. Hotkeys to see a list of all hotkeys.

 Note: Since very many abbreviations are already assigned, use the Alt Gr key+(letter) by preference.
- Double-click to change or deactivate hotkeys.
 Note: Hotkeys that cannot be changed are labelled as locked. locked.
- Confirm your input by clicking OK  and  Save your input. Save your input.

- Many other common hotkeys also work in Bp Event, such as using the Tab key to move between input fields or pressing Ctrl+S to save a record.

- Go to the 
-  Reset to default settings
    Sometimes, decisions have to be reconsidered or decided on a case-by-case basis. - Go to the  Options tab on the function bar and click on Options tab on the function bar and click on Hidden Messages. Hidden Messages.
- Go to the User-specific decisions or Company-specific decisions to show all messages for which decisions have been saved.

-  Save standard decisions
    Some user decisions tend to follow distinct patterns. Tell the application to remember your decisions permanently in order to avoid repeated messages. - Go to the  Options tab on the function bar and click on Options tab on the function bar and click on Hidden Messages. Hidden Messages.
- Go to More hideable messages to display all messages for which decisions can be remembered.

- Select your preferred decision.
- Save the decision For all users if you are authorised and want to pre-set the choice for the entire company.

- Alternatively, save decisions when and if they occur in the work context by ticking the box "Remember decision, don't show again" below the buttons.

-  Set the number of most recent records
    Most functions in Bp Event offer a list of the  Most recent records in the menu for improved findability. The number of records remembered here can be defined per user. -  Disable tooltips
    In Bp Event, tooltips are enabled for input fields and buttons on mouseover, but can be disabled individually. - Go to the  Options tab on the function bar and click on Options tab on the function bar and click on Settings. Settings.

- Click the Save button at the bottom right hand corner.
 
- Go to the 
-  Disable automatic spellcheck
    In Bp event, the spellcheck is enabled for text fields by default, but can be disabled individually. - Go to the  Options tab on the function bar and click on Options tab on the function bar and click on Settings. Settings.
- Tick the box to Disable automatic spellcheck.
- Click the Save button at the bottom right hand corner.
