Für die automatische Ausführung der Datensicherung wird ein Job angelegt. Für die Konfiguration des Jobs benötigt der Benutzer administrative Berechtigungen.
- Go to
Set-up > 
Jobs > 
New Set-up. - Enter a unique name and, if applicable, a title for the job.
- Select the type "Data backup" from the drop-down list.
- Select the start time "Exiting the database"to start the backup automatically when logging off to Bp Event.
Hinweis: Wird der Einzelplatz mehrmals am Tag neu gestartet, empfiehlt es sich, die Datensicherung täglich zu einem festen Zeitpunkt (außerhalb der Bp Event Nutzung) einzurichten. - Enter the destination directory of the data backup.
- Enter the number of backups .
Note: 3 backup sets are set by default. The fourth backup automatically overwrites the oldest/first backup. 
Activate the job in the horizontal toolbar of the input window.
Save and close the job.
Note: Every Bp Event user is informed about a faulty data backup. When logging in, a red bar is displayed with the note of the last successful data backup .
Important: Make sure that there is sufficient storage capacity on the target drive. The size of the database and thus the required storage space can grow considerably over time. The minimum storage capacity can be calculated as follows:
