Bp Event users are automatically notified of a faulty data backup. A warning in a yellow bar will appear on the login screen and will change to red three days after the last successful data backup. A job can also be set up to notify one or more users by email.

1. Go to the  Configurations tab and select  Jobs >  New.
2. Enter a unique Name and, if applicable, a Title for the job.
3. Select "Send email" as the type of job.
4. Select "After error" as the Start time/condition to send the email if the data backup fails.
5.  Link the Predecessor job to the data backup.
6. Enter one or more email Recipients .
7. Enter a unique Subject and a meaningful Text for the email.
8.  Activate the job in the toolbar of the input window.
9.  Save your input by clicking on the icon in the top left-hand corner of the input window.
