Following up on a Quote

  • Create a follow-up for the event

    Set a follow-up as a reminder to ask the customer whether the quote has been received or if there have been any changes. Regardless of Status and Status date , you can list the event in the list of follow-up in the General Info Centre (select the Datenbank Data source "Events").

    1. On the VA General tab of the event, enter the date on which you would like to be reminded of the event in the Follow-up field.
    2. Enter a Follow-up reason for the reminder. Use a star Picklist value for recurring entries.
    3. save Save your input by clicking on the icon in the top left-hand corner of the input window.
  • Change the quote status

    Change the status of event segments as soon as the customer accepts or rejects them. The data is not deleted so that all changes can be tracked at any time.

    1. To change the status of several segments at the same time, select the higher-level segment folder such as Ordner Angebot Quotes, Ordner Bestellung Orders or Ordner Rechnung Invoices in the side navigation.
    2. Select the segments you want in the list and click on edit Change status.
    3. Select the new status Rejected or Accepted and ok Confirm your selection.
    4. To change the status of individual segments, go to the Angebot General tab of that segment and select a status from the drop-down menu in the top line.
    5. Speichern Save your input by clicking on the icon in the top left-hand corner of the input window.
  • Document customer contacts

    Go to the event infocenter Info Centre for an overview of all data linked to the event, such as mail, quotes or appointments.

    View all relevant information on the events:

    1. Click on infocenter Info Centre in the side navigation to open the Info Centre with all the data linked to this event.
    2. Click on Datenbank Data sources. Select one or more data sources by holding down the Ctrl key and left-clicking, then ok Confirm your selection.
    3. Click on Filter Dates to show only entries within the specified period.
    4. Activate Show own data (incl. as delegate) data to hide data related to other users.
    5. If you need special data queries more than once, save your settings for reuse. Click on Views, then select Speichern Save > star Standard or neu New and save the customised settings either as a Benutzer User view orGruppen Group view. Users with administrative authorisations can save views as betrieb Company standard .

    Documenting customer contacts without the CRM plus module:

    1. Document customer contacts in one of the available text fields in the event such as details Added fields > star Internal info orVA General > starInitial agreement.
    2. Set a timestamp with date, time and user by clicking on star Open picklist > Timestamp or use the keyboard shortcut Shift+F2.
    3. Enter the basic details.
    4. save Save your input by clicking on the icon in the top left-hand corner of the input window.

    If you have the CRM plusM module, it is easy to document all customer contacts in detail and create follow-ups in the account itself, without direct reference to an event.

    1. Open the Adresse Contacts tab in the side navigation of the organiser Akquise Account.
    2. Create a Follow-up for the account.
    3. Create new neu Contact notes including individual follow-up dates and text.
    4. save Save your input by clicking on the icon in the top left-hand corner of the input window.
