Editing Events from the Intranet WebApp in the Full ClientM
The Intranet WebApp gives staff without access to the Bp Event application a limited view of the event calendar and room bookings plus, if needed, an option for creating booking requests and new accounts. The exact appearance of the WebApp Intranet interface will depend on the customised configuration. Many functions and fields can be shown or hidden individually.
Options for booking rooms and possibly caterings, for searching and creating accounts and for searching available items can be made available depending on the exact configuration.
- Process event requests from the Intranet WebApp
Event requests from the WebApp are automatically imported into the full client through an import job.
- The
Event is created automatically and filled with all available data: the data specified in the
Event template (e.g. status) and the entries from the WebApp Intranet.
- If you are part of the "WebApp_Intranet_V2_User" user group, you will receive both a
Notification and a new
Task linked to any new event. The task will appear in the
Info Centre in the Follow-ups area as well as in the Info Centre of the
Event, provided the data source Tasks is selected.
- Open the
Event by clicking on the link in the top toolbar of the
Task.
- Process the event according to internal specifications.
- The
- Process messages from the Intranet WebApp
Messages relating to an
Event from the WebApp are also automatically imported into the full client through an import job.
- The
User (NOT the user group) responsible for the
Event will receive a
Notification about a new
Task, and can continue to process the event in accordance with internal regulations.
- These messages are automatically entered under
Event >
Added fields > Intranet (if the field is shown according to the configuration). Multiple notifications are listed in chronological order.
- The
- Process cancellation requests from the Intranet WebApp
Cancellation requests from the WebApp are also automatically imported into the full client through an import job.
- The
User (NOT the user group) responsible for the
Event will receive a
Notification about a new
Task, and can continue to process the event in accordance with internal regulations.
- Reason and Remarks for the cancellation are automatically entered in
Event >
Added fields > Intranet (if the field is shown according to the configuration). Only the cancellation reasons stored in the "WebApp_Intranet_V2_Settings" user group are available.
- Set the Status of the event to "Cancelled". Cancelled events are not shown in the Intranet Calendar.

- Process retractrions of cancellation requests from the Intranet WebApp
If a cancellation is retracted in the WebApp, a
Task is sent to the user responsible for the
Event .
- The Remarks is also entered under
Event >
Added fields > Intranet (if the field is shown according to the configuration).
- Set the Status of the event back to "On hold", "Confirmed" or "Contract".
- Manually start the
Job "WebApp_Intranet_V2_Status_Cancellation" in the toolbar of the event. This job deletes all cancellation details in the full client.
