The use of maintenance lists is recommended for processing a large amount of data. This means that not every single record has to be opened, edited and saved again. A data maintenance list not only allows manual changes - if you enter a formula, the change can be applied to all records at once.
Example: Add the country code (e.g. +49) to all telephone numbers in accounts.
Ask your Bp Event account manager to draw up a custom maintenance list for you.
Example: Maintenance of account data
- Open a list of accounts by executing a search.
- Go to
Bulk operations on the list in the toolbar and select
Edit data in list.
- Select the corresponding Maintenance list in the top left-hand corner.
- Make the changes. Changed records are automatically ticked in the first column.
- To apply the changes, click on
in the toolbar.
- Confirm the message concerning record changes with OK.
Important:
- Make sure that line breaks are observed.
- Grey columns are locked for changes.
- Mind mandatory fields.

- Allergen maintenance in items FIR (food information regulation)
- Implementation of company standards, e.g. spelling of telephone numbers
- Change appointments
