Save access data and passwords for an account

Store electronic access data such as a Login name and Password for a specific site securely and directly against an individual Adresse Account . The password manager is only visible if the user has read permission on "Accounts: Password Manager". Write permissions are required to create such data. Each access itself can in turn be visibility-restricted to a group or a user.

  1. Go to the Adresse  General tab in the side navigation of the account
  2. Left-click Password  Password manager in the top right-hand corner of the input window, and select New.
  3. Enter the name of the access you want to save.
    Example: Webmail, WebShop
  4. In the input window, enter the login name, password and link to which they apply. This can be a website, but also a network directory or such. The link must begin with "http" (web address) or with "\\" (network directory name).
    Example: http://web.de or \\I:\Joint
  5. If necessary, restrict the visibility of the saved access to a specific Personen user group or Benutzer  user.
  6. After the Valid until date , the data is no longer accessible.
  7. If the path to the WinAuth folder is specified by the environment variable "WinAuthPath", this integration will also be offered.

The recorded accesses can only be retrieved, edited or deleted with the necessary authorisation.
