Maintain rooms and monitor positions using data maintenance lists
Data maintenance lists are available to support inputting a large number of rooms, monitor positions, equipment items and other details. Data can be both retrieved and changed in these lists. The lists have been available since October 2025 and are included in the scenario for new installations.
- Enter/maintain details of monitor locations
- Go to the
Home tab and click on
Items >
Search to filter on the item group "Monitor location" (or the company-specific designation). - In the results list toolbar, select
Bulk operations > Edit data in list (NOT "Edit items in list") - In the input window at the top left, select the maintenance list "Data maintenance signage details"
- Assign Standard views to monitors or provide information on the display of External content (advertising).
- New monitor locations (items) can also be created by entering a name and assigning an item group and company if applicable.
Save your input.
- Go to the
- Enter/maintain group/floor for rooms
- Go on the
Administration tab and click on
Rooms >
Searc. - In the toolbar of the results list, select
Bulk operations > Edit data in list. - Select the maintenance list "Data maintenance group/floor" in the top left-hand corner of the input window.
- Assign a value from the selection list in the "Group/floor" column.
Important: The values cannot be extended here. Add new values under
Configurations >
Added fields >
Rooms in the field Group/floor as possible default values. - New rooms cannot be created here.
Save your input.

- Assign/maintain equipment for rooms
- Go on the
Administration tab and click on
Rooms >
Search. - In the toolbar of the results list, select
Bulk operations > Edit data in list. - In the input window at the top left, select the maintenance list "Data maintenance monitor locations as equipment per room".
- New links can be created between existing rooms and existing monitor locations, but new rooms or items cannot be created here.
- Go on the
- Query monitor settings for one or more events
The monitor settings for each event can be found under
Event >
Added fields > Signage and also (in advanced mode) in the relevant signage segment. In simple mode, the monitors are automatically taken from the assigned rooms.
The rooms per monitor location or monitor locations per room are summarised on a data sheet for a better overview.- In the side navigation of the Event, go to the Datasheet tab and select the template "Signage datasheet".
- To call up the data sheets for several events at the same time, go to the
Home tab and click on
Events >
Search. - Select the events you want and click on
Print > Room signage data sheet in the toolbar.
